Bianca, so happy in her natural environment of MESS!!!! Every time you tidy her room, about 5 minutes later it looks like this, neatness makes her nervous. Below, the view that greeted us from the bedroom window upon waking. yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Cut of as we were from technology for the first few days (TV), the poor children had to go old school and resort to playing in the garden.
We went up to the local school to enrol and found lorikeets (Jake "this is the best school ever"). It also has lunch snatching Ibis - we were warned to make sure your lunchbox is secure at all times.
As the gas wasn't connected for a few weeks and we don't have any electric heaters, we went old school on the heating too, what a luxury having a fireplace.
First sunday arvo, round the corner for an intense Mum's and under 8s versus 8+ and dad's soccer game with the neigbhours.
And woke up to more beautiful skies (and the sounds of birds and frogs which are fantastic until they start chirping at 5am as it gets lighter towards summer and wakes the kids up.....oh early mornings, why aren't you my friend yet?). Still, it's our little patch of heaven on earth.
