Measuring up for curtains

Before we moved in, we went across to measure up for curtains, while Ukki was staying. Check out the views.

Above and below upstairs "lounge area" at the top of the stairs which goes onto the world's largest deck (source of the leaky roof) - the deck has just been laid on top of the original roof when the extension was done and something is not quite right............well there must be some holes in it.

Check out the cool architect designed downstairs...........oh the lovely lines.

Just below we see the sliding doors to the kitchen from the living room. Super cool.

And the feature panels of wood at the end of the dining room.

Apparently the house originally was white with red highlights - front door, door frames. Mainly it's been re-painted to a more sedate grey but this side window has escaped.

After work, of course there must be play, so we went for a little bushwalk, the last bit up the hill, little legs were tired and needed a lift from Ukki.
