The trip to Cambodia was FANTASTIC for Toby, it's such a great place for kids, being able to roam free over temples, very Indiana Jones. However, whilst at every temple Toby lept out and went running, his enthusiasm usually flailed around the 90 mins - 2 hour mark (which is hardly surprising for a 5 year old). So after the first day we learnt to take enough supplies of Fanta, Lemonade and lollies to dispense at regular intervals.
some days, it was still all too much. Above Toby is dejected as he's not allowed in the highest part of Angor Wat (restricted to persons 12 year and over).
The top bit is the highest bit you can see above our heads. It's a long steep staircase and the less mobile adults were struggling with it, so you can see why young kids weren't allowed. Toby took it pretty hard.
